I'm embarrassed to say how long it's taken to put this half bath project together, I was blogging about it in 2015. All the components were there from salvaged items to fabric for the valence over the window, it was just that last little piece of the puzzle that we couldn't seem to get finished. Well I'm excited to announce that it's done, our builder boring half bath is now a totally customized and unique space that fits our house perfectly.

Beyond the Souvenir Shop
Thursday, January 12, 2017
First off Happy New Year! Can't believe we are already almost half way through January, my how time fly's. My family took a much needed break right after Christmas. We were fortunate to be able to take a road trip to San Francisco between Christmas and New Year's and have a little rest and relaxation. We took in the sites, walked along the waterfront, went to fisherman's wharf, ate good seafood, and took a boat tour to see the sites from the water. But one stop into a store gave us the inspiration for this post, and took us beyond the souvenir shop to bring a little bit of San Francisco home with us.
From Broken Chair to Towel Bar?
Thursday, July 21, 2016
We've been working on updating our builder half bath for sometime now, and I know what you're thinking, that's probably the smallest, easiest, most cost effective room to update right? Well, it's taken me some time, and I do keep changing my mind on what exactly is going in there, so maybe there is some excuse. For this addition we took an old broken chair, and turned it into a unique and creative towel bar.
Favorite Bathroom designs

Just a few of my favorite bathroom designs...
My favorite bathroom we did. Love the vessel sinks with the tile "rug" inlay that works to enhance the shower as well. Subway tile in the shower with a marble top and porcelain tiles on the floor.
My favorite granite is this dull leathered look, with travertine in the shower and on the floor.
My first bathroom, like the big sinks with the extra storage
Have an identical bath that used the same concept with yellow as the color.
Extra big master bath
